Christian Zmasek

Currently I am a postdoc in Adam Godzik's group at the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute [1]. Previously, I worked at GNF [2]. I graduated with a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the laboratory of Sean Eddy [3] at the Washington University School of Medicine [4].

Research Interests

Functional and comparative genomics, in particular:

 Evolution of regulatory pathways 
 Evolution of protein architectures
 Ancestral genome reconstruction and analysis
 Evolution of complexity
